Positive Feedback

The EIB prize allowed us to have an engineering specific fund in our annual QUB Dragons’ Den Competition, giving emerging entrepreneurs a platform to pitch their ideas and showcase some amazing innovations not just to businesses but potential investors. The prize fund gave student entrepreneur Lewis the means to take his business idea to the next level, with the creation of an MVP to begin his market validation.

By providing our students with enterprise related initiatives we aim to foster an enterprising attitude among the student population here at Queen’s University Belfast. Our aim is to develop the professional skills and capabilities of the students, including resilience, risk-taking, creativity and innovation, as well as a self-belief that starting
a business is a viable career choice.

I would like to thank EIBF for the opportunity to avail of this funding, we are delighted to be part of this network!
