Largest prize pot awaits Champion of Champions finalists

A new prize has been added to the 2023 Engineers in Business Champion of Champions Grand Final, making it the largest total prize fund the competition has seen.

Now in its fifth year, the competition sees university students showcase their problem-solving innovations to industry experts in a bid to win a series of prizes.

The event, held at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London in November, is the culmination of over 40 individual university competitions, which have been supported by registered charity Engineers in Business Fellowship.

This year’s ten finalists will compete to win a share of a £16,000 prize pot, with a new prize added from long-standing event sponsor PurpleCV for the finalists with the best presentations.

Finalists now have a chance to win:

  • £5,000 and a mentor (Enterprise Award)
  • £3,000 and a mentor (Big Ideas winner)
  • £3,000 and a mentor (Startup winner)
  • £1,500 (Big Ideas runner-up)
  • £1,500 (Startup runner-up)
  • £1,000 (Best Presentation) *NEW*
  • £500 (People’s vote pre-show)
  • £500 (People’s vote post-show)
